About Linda

Linda Formichelli has been a full-time writer since 1997 and has written successful brochures, newsletters, web copy, and more for such clients as Bay State Gas, ESPN, Pizzeria Uno, and Wainwright Bank.

Linda also writes for such newsstand and trade magazines as Health, USA Weekend, Fitness, Women’s Health, Redbook, Multi-Channel Merchant, Target Marketing, Writer’s Digest, and many others. She co-authored the cult classic The Renegade Writer: A Totally Unconventional Guide to Freelance Writing Success and The Renegade Writer’s Query Letters That Rock.

Linda is the founder of Creative Professionals for Animal Welfare (creativePAW), which helps animal welfare organizations find volunteer creatives such as writers, graphic designers, web designers, photographers, PR people, and more.

Linda lives in Concord, NH, with her writer husband, son, and three cats. Her interests include fitness, yoga, science fiction, languages & linguistics, Archie Comics, Thai iced tea, and volunteering for animal welfare organizations.
